    The 13th edition features a competition among seven ensembles in the traditional Malouf category

    Yesterday morning, Thursday, July 2, 2026, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the General Authority for Cinema, Theater, and Arts in the Artist Kazem Nadeem Hall. The meeting was dedicated to conducting the draw for selecting and distributing musical modes (Tubū’) among the competing ensembles in the competition. The draw ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the competition, several department directors from the Authority, as well as the heads and representatives of participating artistic ensembles and theatrical institutions from various cities and regions.

    The meeting opened with a welcoming speech that emphasized the importance of this competition in stimulating the artistic movement and showcasing the rich cultural diversity of the country. Additionally, the technical conditions and evaluation criteria to be adopted by the judging panel were reviewed to ensure the highest levels of transparency and fairness among all competing parties.
